How It Works
The Sabrura Sticks & Sushi app has been designed as a simple platform that appeals to customers who love the simplicity of sushi.
Every member can collect stamps with every 10th sushi buffet, poke bowl, small sushi combo or chilli majo free (valid within 90 days). Members also earn offers on makimenu on Mondays and promotional offers on popular takeaway bestsellers. Adding favorite Sabrura location earns raw local offers, also.
VIP Members Earn More
Sabrura’s most valuable customers can easily become VIP Gullfisk (translated to English as Goldfish). Gullfisks have fixed discounted prices on the sushi buffet in all restaurants and receive a free coffee when dining. They also get access to exclusive discounts and offers.
With 10 points, app members automatically become a Gullfisk.
There are several ways to earn points in the app. Gullfisks get one point for every purchase in a restaurant (minimum value NOK 100) and one point every time you buy sushi in the online store (minimum value NOK 100). Gullfisks earn points for each person recruited. There are also games to win points, sushi and other prizes.
Gold status lasts for ninety days, so only regular customers can achieve and maintain these benefits by remaining loyal.
The app also offers a location finder, information, and point totals.
Upgrading & Connecting
One of the key success factors for this program is that the team has ensured a simple journey to upgrade their existing loyal customers to their digital program.
In the past, customers had been presented a paper loyalty stamp card to keep track of their visits and earn rewards, so diners are encouraged and incentivized to download the app, earn an instant reward for that, and also have their stamps transferred to the new digital program in the restaurant right there on the spot. The approach is simply to scan a QR code in the app and activate their coupons. Easy and enjoyable!
