Enhanced Admin Dashboard Makes Loyalty Management More Convenient

Running a loyalty program means constantly balancing several tasks across several departments. You need to shape the program itself with points, tiers, and offers that keep members coming back, and you need to take care of the members already using it. Both areas are constant and should be evolving to stay fresh and relevant.

Liquid Barcodes just made both jobs easier with a major update to the Admin Dashboard, our command center for retailers running convenience store loyalty programs. This release, the second phase of our Dashboard project, focuses on two of the most heavily used parts of the Dashboard, Points and Member Support, and both now put more control directly in a retailer's hands.

You can read all about the Admin Dashboard and Phase One upgrade in a previous article, “The Admin Dashboard You Need to Run a Winning Loyalty Program.” In Phase Two, the upgrade to the Points module is now available to all customers. The new Member Support experience is being introduced to customers individually by Customer Success Managers so your team gets the training and context to make the most of it from day one.

A Full View of the Points Program

Points programs tend to grow more complicated over time. A retailer might launch with a single earning rule, then add a second rule for a new promotion, then create a third tied to a supplier deal, eventually add a tier structure to reward the most loyal members, and later a redemption shop. Each piece makes sense on its own, but together, they can be hard to visualize.

Why is this important? A retailer can look at one page and understand what is currently giving points to members, what is planned for later, and how well each part of the program is performing. Launching a new earning rule or a limited-time points multiplier no longer means digging through settings scattered across the platform. Reviewing how a tier structure is working, or whether a points-for-purchase promotion is paying off, becomes a matter of opening a page rather than requesting a report.

For retailers already running a program on Liquid Barcodes, the practical effect is speed. Decisions that previously required a back-and-forth with support can now be activated immediately.

Point Program Management

The updated Points page brings it all to one screen, organized the way a loyalty manager thinks about a program. Managers can see every earning rule the program runs, whether it is a standing program rule your team built directly on the dashboard or a reward tied to a specific campaign. Both kinds of earning mechanics will appear side by side, and everything that grants points to members will be visible.

Solving Member Issues Faster

Loyalty program member support can be a frequent time suck. When a loyalty member calls or emails with a question about a purchase, a subscription, or a reward that did not seem to work as it should, might mean pulling together information that often lives in several different systems, and every extra step is time the member spends waiting.

The new Member Support experience solves that by giving support teams a single, detailed profile view of every member. That kind of visibility changes what a support conversation looks like. A support agent can see a member's complete purchase habits, including what they buy most and how their spending compares with similar members, and act right away: resending a receipt, refunding an in-app purchase, adjusting a points balance with a reason logged for the next person who looks at the account, reissuing an offer or explaining precisely why a purchase did or did not qualify for a reward. For members with a subscription, the Admin Dashboard even flags whether they are getting good value from the plan, which helps a retailer spot at-risk members before they cancel. Members who get a real answer the first time they ask, rather than a promise that one is coming, are crucial to providing excellent customer service.

For a retailer's team, this also means fewer dead ends. A support agent no longer needs deep technical knowledge of the loyalty platform to help a member. The information they need to make a good decision is already organized and in front of them.

Member Support

The new Member Support experience gives support teams a single, detailed profile view of every member, including contact details, purchase history, points balance and tier status, active subscriptions, every campaign and message a member has ever received. A calendar view even shows daily what a member did and when, so a question about a specific date can be answered in seconds rather than by scrolling through months of records. Nothing needs to be requested, exported, or cross-referenced because the full history is there.

Built for Retailers Who Are Serious About Loyalty

Both of these updates reflect something bigger about how Liquid Barcodes builds its platform. A loyalty program is not something a retailer sets up once and leaves alone; it is ever-evolving. Launching new promotions, adjusting tiers, answering member questions and issues, and providing accurate help is made simple with this enhanced Admin Dashboard.

For current retail customers, the enhanced Admin Dashboard improves features your team already relies on every day. For retailers evaluating a loyalty platform, Liquid Barcodes provides you with a platform built by people who understand that running a loyalty program is operational work, not just marketing.
