FAIRFAX, VA – September 29, 2026 — Liquid Barcodes, the leading loyalty platform for convenience retailers, announces a new data visualization experience in the Liquid Barcodes Admin Dashboard, now live for all customers. The release improves how analytics are delivered, pairing a new visualization layer with a new data platform built on Google Cloud and BigQuery. This modern, user-friendly addition complements the robust database upgrades that have rolled out throughout 2026 to enhance the customer’s experience and utilization of the Admin Dashboard.

Analytics in the Admin Dashboard are now powered by a BigQuery-based data warehouse, where data is transformed into structured, analytics-ready models rather than calculated from operational systems each time a report is requested. The visualization layer is built directly into the Admin Dashboard, so retailers explore their program data in an experience designed for them instead of a traditional business intelligence tool.

The new data visualization experience gives retailers access to:

    • New data architecture:  Analytics are powered by a new BigQuery-based data warehouse, where data is transformed into structured, analytics-ready models rather than calculated from operational systems when a report is requested.
    • Significantly faster analytics: The new architecture is designed for high-performance analytical queries, allowing retailers to navigate and explore their program data much faster.
    • More reliable and consistent metrics: KPIs are calculated from structured data models and common metric definitions, providing a consistent source of truth across visualizations.
    • Purpose-built visualization experience: The visualization layer has been built directly into the Liquid Barcodes Dashboard, maintaining control over the user experience rather than exposing retailers to a traditional BI tool.
    • Program performance: Retailers can quickly understand the overall status and development of their loyalty program through the most relevant KPIs and trends.
    • Member segmentation: Retailers can understand how their member base is distributed across different segments and how those groups behave and evolve.
    • Value measurement: The new views make it easier to understand the value generated through the loyalty program and connect customer behavior with commercial outcomes.
    • Designed for self-service: The objective is to move common analytics away from manually generated reports and data exports, giving retailers direct access to the information they need in the Admin Dashboard.
    • Foundation for AI analytics: Because the underlying data is structured and centralized in BigQuery, the same foundation can support AI-powered capabilities such as natural-language questions, automated insight generation, anomaly detection and proactive identification of trends and opportunities.

The visualization experience joins an Admin Dashboard that Liquid Barcodes has been expanding throughout 2026. Designed for convenience retail, the Admin Dashboard brings program operations, campaign execution, automation, member support, and team governance into one place. It includes:

    • Command Center: A customizable home screen with configurable KPI cards showing program performance, spending behavior, live and upcoming campaigns, campaign run dates, and engagement numbers.
    • Campaign Management: A single view of planned, active, and past campaigns that can be filtered, searched, and grouped by placement and channel, with tools to build campaigns that use images, push notifications, games, coupons, and stamps.
    • Power Ups: Follow-up reminders, end-of-campaign nudges, and step-based prompts that can be added to a live campaign without rebuilding it.
    • Automation and Sequences: Always-on automations and campaign sequences that react to member behavior, including onboarding and win-back flows.
    • App Member Support: A detailed profile view of every member, including purchase history, points balance and tier status, active subscriptions, and every campaign and message the member has received. A calendar view shows what a member did on any given day.
    • Reporting: A library of standard reports, CSV exports, and API access for deeper analysis in business intelligence tools or spreadsheets.
    • Team and Access Control: Roles and permissions that separate admin and support responsibilities and keep local execution distinct from chain-wide configuration.

"This is much more than a new visualization experience. We have built a completely new data foundation that gives retailers fast and reliable access to their loyalty data, making it much easier to understand program performance, member segmentation, and the value being delivered. What excites me most as a technologist is what this foundation enables us to do next. With the right data architecture in place, we can move beyond traditional reporting and start bringing AI directly into how retailers explore their data, identify opportunities, and make decisions. The new dashboard is the first very visible step in that direction," says Jose Santiago, Chief Product Officer for Liquid Barcodes.
