Toot'n Totum Food Stores has been a cornerstone of communities across Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and New Mexico for more than 75 years. Headquartered in Amarillo, Texas, the chain operates nearly 100 locations offering convenience store essentials, its Fast'n Fresh food program, Express Car Washes, Car Care Centers, and quality fuel. That same commitment to the guest experience drove the launch of the fully upgraded TNT Rewards app, powered by Liquid Barcodes.

The Challenge

Toot'n Totum had the brand equity, the store footprint, and the guest relationships. What it needed was a digital loyalty experience that could keep pace with all three. Managing multiple technology partners had created operational complexity, higher resource requirements, and a patchwork of system integrations. Toot'n Totum needed to consolidate, simplify, and accelerate.

The Solution

To address these challenges, Toot'n Totum partnered with Liquid Barcodes and launched the upgraded TNT Rewards app, a full-service loyalty and convenience platform now available on iOS and Android. By consolidating onto a single end-to-end platform, Toot'n Totum gained the operational efficiency, integration depth, and partner support needed to deliver a program that rewards guests in ways that matter to them at every visit.

 

Key Features

  • Fuel Loyalty: Guests earn 10 points per gallon on fuel purchases, with instant cents-off savings they can understand at the pump. Members also receive an additional 5-cent-per-gallon fuel discount every day, making every fill-up more rewarding.

  • Loyalty Points and Rewards: Earn 20 points per dollar on eligible in-store purchases and redeem for exclusive discounts, free items, and personalized offers tailored to individual guests.

  • Stamp Cards: Earn stamps across food and beverage categories and earn a free item after qualifying purchases, encouraging repeat visits and category trial.

  • Gamification: Play daily games to earn bonus points, free products, and prizes, keeping guests engaged between visits and coming back for more.

  • Tobacco Loyalty: Age-verified members receive manufacturer-funded tobacco discount offers through a partnership with Altria+, delivered directly through the app after completing a secure verification process.

  • Order Ahead and Delivery: Guests can place orders for quick pickup or delivery through Toot'n Totum's FetchUm service, powered by Vroom Delivery, available at participating locations.

  • Store Locator: Find nearby Toot'n Totum locations complete with on-site amenities and available offers, all in one place.

  • Pinpad Registration: Customers can join the TNT Rewards program instantly at the fuel pump or inside the store by entering their phone number to earn and activate rewards immediately.

  • Customer Success: Toot'n Totum works directly with the Liquid Barcodes Customer Success team to drive program performance, member engagement, and long-term loyalty growth.

  • Coming Soon - Pump Activation with ACH Debit: Guests will be able to activate the pump from the app and receive an additional 5-cent-per-gallon fuel discount.
