Alimentation Couche‑Tard launched car wash subscription program in Canada. The world leader in the convenience store and retail fuel industry employs over 146,000 people across its network of almost 17,200 stores in 29 countries.

While it’s best known internationally for its Circle K branded forecourts and stores, the company continues to operate under its original French name Couche-Tard as founded in Quebec, Canada, where the company was founded more than 40 years ago.

The Challenge

As a global convenience leader, Couche-Tard needed a modern car wash subscription program, capable of supporting scale, personalization, and multi-market deployment while driving repeat visits and customer lifetime value.

 

The Solution

To modernize its car wash offering and create a more seamless experience for customers, Couche-Tard partnered with Liquid Barcodes to launch a mobile car wash subscription app that enables customers to purchase, manage, and redeem car wash subscriptions directly from their smartphones. 

Liquid Barcodes delivered a branded mobile car wash app that supports subscription-based and single-wash purchases. Customers can sign up for a monthly plan, manage their subscription, and access car washes directly from their mobile device, creating a fast, contactless experience at participating locations.

The payment solution is powered by Rocket Partners, with payment service provider Moneris supporting them on the backend. The car wash machines are manufactured and supported by DRB.
